Reading The Four Loves for the first time my freshman year of college was a transformative experience. As someone who has always felt deeply and desired depth in relationships at a young age this book not only affirmed I wasn’t crazy but gave me language to communicate about all sorts of love through the lens of Christ. There’s a reason this is such a heralded text. By looking at the ends and outs of various types of love, both edifying and destructive, the truth of Divine love shines even clearer.
